April 30 | Instituto Cervantes | NYC

With Salwa Al Neimi, Joseph Boyden, Lilian Faschinger, Clemens Meyer, and Peter Weber

An eclectic group reading with award-winning writers from around the world will weave a rich tapestry of stories spanning continents, cultures, genres, and time. Salwa Al Neimi from Syria will read from her novel The Proof of Honey; we’ll go to Austria with novelist and translator Lilian Faschinger; discover the harsh beauty of Canada with Joseph Boyden, then look at life in Leipzig at the end of the ‘80s with Clemens Meyer, before landing in our final destination—Switzerland—with novelist Peter Weber.

Co-sponsored by Instituto Cervantes, the Consulate General of Spain
