Creative Writing Workshop: Character and Voice

With facilitators Manuela Silvestre and Melanie Kelliher, explore the ways in which writers cultivate the style of their works through the voices they create for their characters. We read short works to discover how words used and details shared/left out shape those characters and drive narratives. Then, we try our hands at writing exercises and prompts that allow us to practice their techniques.
