In the winter of 1979, Iraq’s most famous young poet, Nabeel Yasin, gathered together a handful of  belongings and fled the country with his wife and son. With his biographer, journalist Jo Tatchell, Yasin discusses that terrifying journey, his life in exile, and the political and social upheaval that destroyed a generation of Iraqi men.
