Break Out: Minneapolis

PEN America Prison and Justice Writing and Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop have a deep connection formed by the astounding award winning work of multiple writers in MPWW programs. This event celebrates that connection with a reading from the 2022 Prison Writing Awards Anthology featuring an incredible list of readers including Davi (formerly David), Roy Guzmán, and MN Poet Laureate Gwen Westerman.

Dallas, a former MPWW student will read from their recently self-published poetry collection.
