Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Bret Stephens has been writing for The New York Times since 2017, and previously for The Wall Street Journal as a foreign-affairs columnist and the deputy editorial page editor. His published work includes the 2014 book America in Retreat: The New Isolationism and the Coming Global Disorder.
