[POSTPONED] PEN America Winter 2020 Authors’ Evening with Ottessa Moshfegh

Host: Satchel Lee
CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

UPDATE: Following increased concerns about the COVID-19 virus and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our hosts, authors, guests, and staff, our remaining Winter/Spring 2020 Authors’ Evening dinners are being rescheduled for the fall. We are closely following the guidance being provided by health agencies at the city, state, and federal levels and will continue to update this site with new dates as they are determined. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Ottessa Moshfegh will discuss her latest book Death in Her Hands, a novel of haunting metaphysical suspense about an elderly widow whose life is upturned when she finds a cryptic note on a walk in the woods that ultimately makes her question everything about her new home.

The PEN America Authors’ Evenings are nights of literary dinners in private homes and intimate settings. Please visit the Authors’ Evenings webpage for our full calendar of dinners.

Proceeds from the PEN America Authors’ Evenings dinners support PEN America’s programming to secure the liberty of persecuted and imprisoned writers around the world, to defend freedom of expression, and to promote literature and international cultural exchange.
