[POSTPONED] PEN America Winter 2020 Authors’ Evening with Elizabeth Kolbert and Jim Shepard
UPDATE: Following increased concerns about the COVID-19 virus and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our hosts, authors, guests, and staff, our remaining Winter/Spring 2020 Authors’ Evening dinners are being rescheduled for the fall. In an intimate evening with guests of PEN America, Elizabeth Kolbert, climate activist and author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Sixth Extinction, and story prize-winning fiction writer Jim Shepard, whose subject is usually catastrophe, will discuss the shared territory in their work — and their shared anxieties.
