Who Is Eligible
Although all eligible books must have been published in the United
States, translators may be of any nationality; U.S. residency or
citizenship is not required. There are no restrictions on the subject
matter of translated works, although eligible titles should be of a
literary character; technical, scientific, or bibliographical
translations will not be considered. Books with more than two translators are not eligible.
How to Submit Three copies of book-length
literary translations published between January 1, 2007 and December
31, 2007 may be submitted by publishers, agents, or the translators
themselves. Self-published books are not eligible.

Deadline: Nominations must be received between September 1, 2007 and December 14, 2007. Early submissions are strongly recommended.
Please mail three copies
of the candidate's book, a completed submission form, and a $50 entry fee to:

Submission fees will be waived for
publishers whose annual net sales do not exceed 4 million dollars.
