2017 PEN America Literary Gala Benefit

The 2017 PEN America Literary Gala Benefit will be held on Tuesday, April 25, at the American Museum of Natural History. Legendary lyricist and composer Stephen Sondheim will receive the PEN/Allen Foundation Literary Service Award, and Macmillan CEO John Sargent will be our Publisher Honoree. PEN will also confer the PEN/Barbey Freedom to Write Award on an imprisoned writer of conscience, as well as the PEN/Toni and James C. Goodale Freedom of Expression Courage Award.
